BlueCity Maasboulevard 100, Rotterdam
Biodiversity & Nature

ROOTED is a symposium exploring the relationship between people and nature, bringing together philosophical reflection and contemporary policy perspectives. The first edition, Blue Balance, focuses on the world's seas and oceans and examines how nature conservation, economic activity, energy and security can be brought into balance.

Featuring contributions from Cindy Kroon and Nynke Laverman, under the guidance of moderator Farid Tabarki, the symposium explores how the ocean can become a foundation for decision-making and design, including its potential role in a nature-inclusive energy transition.

Participation is free, registration is required.
