Dit is geen crisis

Dit is geen crisis is a public discussion and book presentation with Hans Stegeman, Chief Economist and Group Director of Impact & Economics at Triodos Bank, about rethinking the dominant economic model. Drawing on circular economy, post-growth thinking and ecological economics, the event explores how economic systems can be redesigned to operate within ecological and social boundaries. It challenges conventional assumptions about economic growth, value creation and prosperity, and considers how policymakers, entrepreneurs and citizens can contribute to a fairer and more sustainable economy.

ROOTED: Blue Balance

ROOTED is a symposium exploring the relationship between people and nature, bringing together philosophical reflection and contemporary policy perspectives. The first edition, Blue Balance, focuses on the world’s seas and oceans and examines how nature conservation, economic activity, energy and security can be brought into balance.

Featuring contributions from Cindy Kroon and Nynke Laverman, under the guidance of moderator Farid Tabarki, the symposium explores how the ocean can become a foundation for decision-making and design, including its potential role in a nature-inclusive energy transition.

Participation is free, registration is required.
