Understanding Responsible Purchasing Practices is the second session in a three-part Responsible Procurement webinar series organised by UN Global Compact Network Netherlands in collaboration with the Responsible Contracting Project (RCP).
The webinar explores how companies’ purchasing decisions and procurement practices affect suppliers’ ability to uphold human rights and provide decent working conditions. It covers practical approaches to responsible purchasing, including the effects of price pressure, short lead times and changing orders, with examples from different industries.
