UN Climate Change Conference (COP31)

The United Nations Climate Conference (COP31) brings together world leaders, government representatives, businesses, scientists, Indigenous Peoples, and civil society to advance international cooperation on climate change. Discussions will focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, adapting to climate impacts, climate finance, a just transition, and phasing out fossil fuels. The conference will also emphasise the implementation of climate solutions through the Climate Action Agenda, covering areas such as clean energy, resilient cities, food security, and climate-related health impacts. Building on previous climate negotiations, including the 2015 Paris Agreement, COP31 aims to accelerate global climate action and the transition to a more sustainable economy.
